Our Mission & Philosophy
Bringing people together to learn and play music is our main focus. Our Jam Session programs are open to kids, teens and adults. The choice of material is student lead.
Meet the Team
Our team of music educators has a diverse knowledge of instrumental & vocal performance, instrumental composition & songwriting, audio recording, and extensive teaching experience. They are passionate individuals with a strong interest in furthering music education in the Montreal area.

Jonathan Stein
Jonathan Stein is a multi-instrumentalist, performer, composer and producer from Montreal who has been active for over thirty years. Jonathan is also a guitar, ukulele and bass teacher with twenty years of experience who has a DEC in music from Vanier and a BFA with a specialization in jazz studies from Concordia University. He ran his own one-man school of rock called 'It Came From The Garage!' from 2006 until the creation of the NDG Music School in 2017. He has put together and prepped over a hundred bands to perform at his annual Live From The Garage student shows, which have now become an NDG Music School tradition. Michael Fitch
Michael Fitch is a record producer, audio engineer, musician and teacher. He completed his Bachelors of Education at McGill in 2012. Since then, Michael has also completed multiple production and mixing courses with Berklee Online and is one of 14 Avid Certified Pro Tools Experts in Canada.
Michael operates Studio 2Mo which is used in conjunction with courses offered by NDG Music School and is also the founder of the Sound Life Scholarship.
