Band Mash!

Today we hosted our first Band Mash. Hopefully the first of many. A Band Mash is an organized jam lead by our teachers. It is inspired by the Guitar Mash movement in New York City. The jam is open to all instrumentalists, percussionists and singers of all ages. We have a backing band to help guide everyone. Today, we jammed on a whole bunch of songs by The Beatles, Twenty One Pilots, C.C.R., Sublime, Buffalo Springfield, Weezer, Coldplay, the Troggs... If you are wondering what everyone was so intently looking at, we projected all the chords and lyrics on a screen for everyone to follow.
