Ukulele Mash!

Starting September 20th, 2018, The NDG Music School will be hosting monthly free ukulele jam sessions for people of all ages and abilities. All you need to bring is yourself and your ukulele and we will provide the rest! Our next event will be held at the NDG Music School - 5455 de Maisonneuve Street West in NDG. It will start at 7:30 pm.

The evening will begin with a group play along lead by our instructors. The chord and lyric charts will be projected overhead so everyone can play and sing along. After a 45 minute set, there will be a break for an open mic where anyone can come up and play a song or two. Then we will end off the night with another group jam!

Songs will be chosen in advance by our instructors. We will try to vary the type of music as much as possible. Most of the songs will be potentially playable by players of all levels but we will also be throwing in some slightly more difficult songs from time to time to help challenge you. As well, we are open to any and all song suggestions from participants and members of this group. Join the Ukulele Mash! Facebook group to participate in the process.

While this event is called a ukulele mash, we do welcome other instrumentalists, singers and percussionists to come join in as well. Hope to see you there!
